Individuals & sole proprietors
Personal returns with Schedule C for self-employment income, Schedule E for rental property, investment income and your state return.
Core service
Federal and state returns prepared by U.S. tax specialists, checked three times and filed on time. Whether you are a sole proprietor, a growing S corporation or a non-resident owner, we handle the forms, the deadlines and the IRS paperwork.
Returns we prepare
Most clients have more than one filing each year: a business return, the owner's personal return and one or more state returns. We prepare them together so the numbers match.
Personal returns with Schedule C for self-employment income, Schedule E for rental property, investment income and your state return.
For people who are not U.S. tax residents but have U.S.-source income or income connected with a U.S. business, including treaty positions where they apply.
The partnership return plus a Schedule K-1 for every partner, so each owner can report their share on their own return.
S corporation returns with shareholder K-1s, a review of owner compensation and distributions, and a check that the books support the return.
Corporate income tax returns at the 21% federal rate, with state returns and the supporting schedules your corporation needs.
Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 for single-member LLCs owned by non-U.S. persons, required even when the LLC had no income. Form 5472 guide →
Annual tax deadlines
These are the federal deadlines for calendar-year filers. An extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay, so we still estimate what you owe before the original due date.
Form 1065 and Form 1120-S are due, along with K-1s for owners. Extension with Form 7004 moves filing to September 15.
Form 1040, Form 1120 and Form 5472 with pro forma 1120 are due. Extensions with Form 4868 or Form 7004 move filing to October 15.
* Form 1040-NR is due April 15 if you received wages subject to U.S. withholding, otherwise June 15. If a deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, it moves to the next business day. State deadlines can differ; we track them for you.
What's included
A tax return is only as good as the numbers behind it. Before we prepare anything, we review last year's return and your records, ask the questions that uncover missed deductions, and flag anything that looks inconsistent.
You see the finished return and approve it before it is filed. If the IRS sends a notice about a return we prepared, we help you understand it and respond.

It depends on how the business is set up. A single-member LLC owned by a U.S. person is usually reported on the owner's Form 1040. A multi-member LLC files Form 1065, an S corporation files Form 1120-S, and a C corporation files Form 1120. A single-member LLC owned by a non-U.S. person files Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120. Most businesses also have state filings.
We send a checklist based on your situation. It usually includes last year's return, income forms such as W-2s and 1099s, bank and credit card statements or your bookkeeping reports, and details of major purchases, loans and owner contributions or withdrawals.
